Did / Do your parents hit you?

i remember once when i was young my mother dropped me on my head and i cracked the concrete step outside our front door,oh boy was she miffed,i think she skelped ma ar­se for a fortnight solid because of that

My mum was in hospital sick most of my childhood which was very stressful for our whole family. The stepfather found it really hard as well as bringing up three kids alone. So yep he gave my brother and myself some good hidings that is for sure. He yelled a lot, called us every idiot that ever existed, banged our heads against each other and against the wall. I can't remember him doing this to my sister though(his natural child ). And I am finally dealing with my past now. Out of control adults can sure screw childrens minds up. I grew up to believe I was the biggest idiot in the world basically.
I never rubbished him until I really started to confront my past. As a kid I always in my mind gave him an excuse for his behaviour. He also did his best most the time. But he was always stressed and was very bitter. He did so much wrong, he did do other things too. He also kept my "brother and my" family members away from us. We had four brothers that we never got to know. As well as lots of aunties and uncles,but he didn't let them near us.

Oh, my parents never skelped ma ****. However, my last boyfriend did, and I was indeed sore for a fortnight!

My mother spanked me seriously about twice that I remember. The one time, I tried to hide behind my big sister, but she wouldn't help. My mother had the spoon! I ran out the door, and kept running, but had to come back at some time, right? She only chased me once around the neighbor's tri-level. Then she waited. My brother used to do things and get me in trouble, and swatted all the time. My dad was not a spanker. Only one time in my life did my dad put his hands on me in anger - and it was my big brother that got him mad by throwing pencils at his hollow door, not me. I got swatted. My dad felt sooo bad after that. I went and "loosened" the seam of my brother's swim trunks as they were hanging on the line. He went swimming later on.

only little taps by my mum but cant remember dad never shouting or smacking us ...only the one time and he did that out of fright when i was about 7 i jumped on to a wall that was about 50 foot high on the other side,and down below was the raging sea ...dad yanked me down slapped my bum then give me an almighty hug saying don't you ever ever do that to me again ,what did i do i only wanted to look !!!!!!!

No but one time it almost look like my dad was going to. He raised his fist but lowed it back down fast. So not sure what he was thinking that time. But no I have never been hit by my parents. Even though I was a hell raiser

Yes i did a good smack across the a rse didnt do any harm for me made me learn my lesson. Now it is illegal to smack your childern... says nothing about pinching them but i prefere mental mind games they work alot better

Im 11 and my sisters 14 my mum hits us and my sisters always sad and wants to die and stabs herself Its horrible. It turns people crazy. And our dads a syco he tryed to kill are mum.good :)

My parents never ever hit me and I was so well behaved because I didn't want to disapoint them that I never went against their will until I had moved out and was in college! :)
We get along well now, but they still want me to do what they say and I don't anymore!


My husband was hit constantly and he hates his parents to this day.
