I'm being offered Daymond Langkow for Patrick Elias, straight 1 for 1 trade. Should I accept?

According to Yahoo ranking Langkow is a better center than Patrick Elias, but TSN said that Elias would have another great season this year despite loss of Scott Gomez. Who should I take? Langkow has had a monster start, 4 goals in 4 games, but can he continue his production on the Calgary's first line, or is he just a flash-in-the-pan. Thanks

By the way, this is standard Yahoo rotisserie head-to-head, but the only categories i'm really interested in are goals, assists, and +/-

Take the trade. Langkow has Iginla and Tanguay backing him up - a deadly combination that will get him plenty of assists, if nothing else. Elias's wings aren't as dependable and his line is weaker. I'd definitely take this trade.

Gomez is more of a playmaker than a goal scorer, so his leaving won't have much effect on Elias. Elias is a playmaker and if Gionta stays healthy, Elias will produce more than just powerplay points. I've always considered Langkow a decent journeyman. If I had Langkow or someone similar who got off to a hot start, I'd try to use him to steal a skill player like Elias myself.

Keep Elias.

Both players are borderline waiver pickups at this stage of their careers. Elias is playing with one lung and will miss some time this season like last season. Langkow will go as his team goes. He may stay on the top line for PP or he might not.

I say take Langkow.
