If it is an invention you can get a patent. For some things can you can get a copyright. If it is just an idea that could make money you could try to get investors interested and start a business, but if you are successful there will be copy cats who will get some of the million. Once the idea is out, the best business model gets most of the profits, not the first with the idea.

what does that mean? Be a little more specific. If you want to copy write an idea, well contact ...who ever they are. People actually have to hear your idea first, I don't know about where you live, but in Australia, there's this show called " new inventers" and they get to go on the show and show their ideas. And they generally go through it that idea.
