Yah, maybe. Stress affects periods, so cheer up and be ok, then ur period should come within a day or two.

Sometimes it could mean you stressed. When women are stressed it is usual for women to be late or not get it all all that month. Relax . . .
The pains hurt cuz you body is ready and being stressed is not helping. There are foods that could keep you from getting your period right away too. If your open to taking menstrual pills, then PAMPRIN is really good for pain. Drink lots of water that will help too. You need to be well hydrated always, but more for your period. If your not a water person, drink atleast two 16oz, during the day.
When you get tummy pains that's because you blood clot alot. Make sure you drink water!! You can also buy those small crystal light packets to flavor your water if your not much of a water drinker.
Go to the doctor if it persists after a couple of more days.

If you are on the pill, and have either missed a couple (at any time in the pack) or have just changed to a different kind of pill from the one you were taking, sometimes a period will come later than usual.

If you are ill, that can also have an affect on your body and when your period comes. illness can prolong your cycle.

as for the pains you feel now, those are normal. I will start getting cramps and breast soreness about a week or so before my period starts.

i would recommend waiting about a week to see if it comes. If not by a week, schedule an appointment with your doctor and see if soemthing might be going on that is making your cycle a bit whacky.

I've had missed periods before, they were held back by stress, heavy work, even some medications.

And then I get them EARLIER if there's a drop in air pressure--guaranteed I'll be two days earlier if we get a thunderstorm coming through.

The body can shift around. If you didn't have sex in the past month, no worries about pregnancy. The signs may be there, and the only thing missing is the bleeding, it's not a problem if it's for just a month. If it goes to two months, you could have fibroids and can ask a doctor about it.

Hi L,Im not a woman but my neice is .My family is very open with health and other issues.Any way ,,my neice had all and more of what your experiencing .When we made her go back to her G doc,she adjusted her birth control pill dosage and changed brands 4 times before the head aches stopped ,,we re talking almost full blown migraines and vomiting.Anyway once they got it right after 2 months of trial and error ,,no more head aches ,she is regular and a whole lot more cheerful ,less cramping less crying ,no sickness ,well not as bad as before .Pin your g dock down and tell them,Its your body and something is not right .Not every woman responds the same to the basic meds out there. Some woman need less ,some need more. Its your body ,Its your money .Tell them to get it right or you can go somewhere else.

The more stressed and anxious you get about your period been a few days late the worse it will become for you, if your periods are always erratic like this why don't you speak to your doctor or practise nurse about it and hopefully they might be able to recommend something to help, good luck.

Yes, abnormal eating habits can change your period cycle. 3 moths ago, I went through a very unhealthy rapid weight loss. I lost around 15 lbs in one month and ended up being underweight. I didn't get myperiod for the next 2 months, and was very worried like you. But once I regained some weight, was at a healthy level and had a good balance between food and exercise, I got my period. So DON'T worry, once you start your regular meal routine, you will get it back.

If your getting the symptoms, it's on the way you can count on it.
Dink some warm green tea it makes you feel better. Don't worry this happens to all of us. Hey and start eating properly this could be a reason for this, also do a little exercise, that helps too.

Are you on any form of contraception? Most contraceptives can change your normal cycle. I've been on the same pill for about a year, and for the past two months my period has been starting two weeks early and continues for four weeks. This happens to me everytime I've been on the same pill for about a year.

As far as I can tell, there is a lot of variance in periods. If you are really concerned, go see your gynecologist.

Sometimes you can just skip periods. I don't know how old you are, but age has to do with it sometimes. If you are younger or have had your period for 5ish years or so sometimes you can still even skip. Sometimes even stressing over it or being sick can make it late as well...relax, exercise, and if it goes on much longer go to your doctor just to check. If it really becomes painful I would say go to your doctor for sure! They'll know exactally what is wrong, and exactally what to do.
