Night Court
This courtroom comedy revolved around Harry Stone, a boyish, blue-jeaned judge who had been appointed to New York's Manhattan Night Court almost by accident. His unconventional, flippant style dismayed his staff, but often produced unexpectedly positive results with the loonies who paraded through his nocturnal court.
Those who worked in Judge Harry's courtroom were almost as wacky as the defendants. Selma was the caustic, chain-smoking matron; Bull, the niave, six- foot-eight, bald bailiff; Asst. D.A. Dan Fielding, an unscrupulous, well-dressed, sex-starved, put-down artist; Mac, the sensible court clerk; and Christine, the sexy defense attorney.

There were so many good shows from the 80's, but the first show that crossed my mind was WKRP in Cincinnati.
