Ok, like a month or so ago I came down with strep throat. And I went a got a prescription from the doctor and of course it was peniclin. They told me that if I was on any birth control that using the penicilin will make it as if I wasn't and that I should have protected sex. My fiance and I didn't and he's ejaculated 3 times during sex. I haven't gotten my period and pregnancy test are negative. Do you think that it's because I didn't use birth control of that it was to early to tell?

my last period was at the end of august so when would it be officially late?

If your cycle is typically normal then I would say that you are "officially late". If your last period was at the end of August, you should have had a period at the end of September. Test again in a couple of days.

Could be either one. Would really need more information to properly answer though. Just wait until your period is actually late and then get a three pack of pregnancy tests and do them all at the same time to rule out faulty tests. I took pregnancy tests with all four of my children at the doctors office as well as at home and they all came back negative. Do it in the morning when the hormones are at their most potent.

I think that you are pretty late. Sometimes certain people have false readings on pregnancy test. Go to the doctor for an exam. They can tell and they also will do a pregnancy test. Mine has always done it by blood test. They are accurate.

Wait a couple of weeks and take another test.
On the other hand of you are like me and can't wait then go to the doctor and ask for a blood test. Explain to them what's going on with your body.
