Why not? If either are elected it will impact history significantly. The first woman or african american President should be honored on currency.

Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama if elected and performed well during the term of office could be considered placed on the dollar if deserving to be honored just like the other leaders.
VOTE for your choice as US President on my 360 degrees blog and know if Hillary or Barack will likely win.

No living president is supposed to be on any currency. Thus, when the new dollar coin series the mint is doing gets to Carter they will skip him and then make a Reagan coin. Thus, as long as they are living, its a non-issue. Then we can judge how good they were later.
