Love 'em both....Carly Simon is the better singer (I especially love her singing "Let the River Run"), Carole King a much better writer....the artists who have had hits written by her reads like a Who's Who or rock and pop.

Though I prefer Carole (she spells her name with an "E" at the end) King's songwriting and voice...Technically, speaking, Carly (she spells her name with a "Y") Simon is the better singer as far as range and vocal ability.
But as said, I'd still much rather listen to Carole King over Carly Simon any day.
