Marriage might very well be on its way out. Infact, probably is. But just because marriage is gone, remember one thing. . . people will always be the same. Selfish, greedy, lazy, liars, CHEATERS, user and no good. If you honestly think getting rid marriage is gonna "fix" our problem. If the best we can say about our these days is yeah were all those things and then sum. Maybe even worse. . . But at least you save some money a divorce lawyer. . . Boy doesn't this next generation have a bright future up ahead of itself? "The more things change, the more they stay the same." We don't fix problmes, we duct em' in this society. . .

Agree or disagree?

In this 'society' we don't fix problems at all. They are left to become worse and most people don't care.

Getting rid of marriage is not going to solve anything. There is something to be proud of in the old ways of fidelity, love, honesty and all other family values. These were treasured and kept for thousands of years.

With the advent of technology, wealth, greed, instant gratification and breakdown of morality we have destroyed something beautiful.

You have the opportunity to look inward and take responsibility for your own feelings and actions and even have the chance to take personal inventory of what your partner is trying to tell you. I disagree completley it sounds to me like you have had your heart stomped on and that's efecting how you look at relationships some are quite good actually only a percentage of them are really as bad as you say so maybe you should take a better look at some people you dont know, i bet there relationships are just fine, and marriage is never going to be out
