60s/70s - I'm gonna say its a time between the Beatles and the Rolling Stones

90s to present - R.E.M. or U2

What do you think?

60/70's - The Rolling Stones. Artistically and commercially successful through both decades.

90's to present- I'd go with U2, although I'd say 80's onwards, and has tailed off a bit of recent. REM really more 80's/90's. Coldplay maybe, for later portion of the time period?

The 60's & 70's it has to be the Rolling Stones ( but in the 60's and 70's I loved so many of them!!!)

The 80's it has to be Bon Jovi

After that I have no idea because I started listening to country music and now I listen to oldies LOL!!!!

60-70s I would have to say Pink Floyd and the Doors.

90's and present...I don't know. I've always liked Rammstein for there ability to make it big in an engligh speaking world.

Ok, I love the music. I will take a shot at this one.

1960's-Iron Butterfly

1970's-Paul McCartney and Wings

1980's-Bon Jovi

1990's-Pearl Jam

2000's-Train

Well, that is about it. Personally, I didn't care much for music, after the mid 80's. It went down hill for me, then. Peace!
