NOPE, the ddr2 slot is for 240 pin modules. DDR has only 184 pins. Absolutely incompatible!

some motherboards cope with DDR or DDR2 RAM yet you won't be able to blend it. while searching for a motherboard look choose in case you plan to enhance to DDR2 then look for one that cope with the two. in case you think of you will persist with DDR there are a lot of reliable boards available that have compatibility with DDR memory.

No. DDR RAMs and DDR2 RAMs have different number of pins.
