You should make sure you are sterile so you can't spread your idiocy to future innocent generations.

EDIT: In that case, did you do any research before you brought your pets home? Did you realize that Goldfish are POND fish that get more than 1.5 feet long? Did you know that a SINGLE Goldfish needs more than 75 gallons of water? Did you know you are currently killing all of your fish? Give away all of your fish and get fish that are suitable for your tank.
EDIT 2: The "one inch of fish per gallon of water" "rule" is total crap. You can't put a 20 inch Goldfish in a 25 gallon tank. It just doesn't work. They produce far too much ammonia, and wouldn't even be able to turn around.

Why don't you start a pond? This time of year they put the plastic kiddie pools on clearence for only 10 dollars or so . You can either dig a hole and put it outside or put it in a unused corner of the house .Fill with water ,let it stand for 4 or 5 days and put the fish in . You can add some plants later ,put a light on it , Be creative ! But no there is no fish shrinking agent .

I wouldn't flush them, I would call your local pet stores and see if you can take them in. Some stores will even give you some credit for them.
Rule of thumb is one inch of fish for every gallon of water so yes you do have too many fish. If you cannot afford a bigger tank I would see about getting rid of them to the stores, or put free fish in the news paper or on craigslist.
I wouldn't flush them and no you can't make them shrink.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Are you for real?? Shrink fish? The rule of thumb is 1 inch of fish for every gallon of water. You should have thought about that before cramming 18 fish in a 10 gal. Go sell them to the pet store or get an oscar and drop him in for a couple of minutes.

You already know the answer & it doesn't contain 2 letters starting with an 'N' & ending with an 'O'.
Trust me on this one-the only humane thing to do is advertise ALL of your fish on your local Freecycle group or Craig's List so they can have a crack at a proper life. Alternatively see if your local pet store will take them back. You are running a concentration camp for your poor fish.

OK you have too many fish!!!!!!
general rule of thumb is 1 inch of freshwater fish per gallon of water so in a 10 gallon you can only have 10 inches of fish before the tank won't be able to keep up. Goldfish are a naturally dirty fish( poop allot) which can raise ammonia and nitrate levels which are deadly to fish.

Yes you have too many fish in your tank. Be kind to them and return some of them to your local pet store, they are always happy to take fish back in circumstances like this.
If the over-population continues they can get growth defects like curvature of the spine, and not to forget the amount of waste Goldfish produce which will have dire effects to your water quality!
