Wow these people really don't understand pollination. Bees actually pollinate a majority of what we eat. If the bees continue disappering as the currently are, there could be a worlwide famine in 10 years. The United States actually relies on them MORE than some foreign countries and the scary part is scientists don't even know what is wiping them out.

Lets be more specific. There is a great die off of honey bees. We don't know why yet and we don't know if it will affect the wild or the africanized bees. There could be substantial disruption in many food crops that rely of honey bees for pollination. Extinction is not a concern yet.

I did hear that. They think they narrowed it down to a microscopic mite which is killing off the worker bees.
Unless they find a treatment, they estimate bees will be gone within 20 years.
Now I dont love bees either people (who likes getting stung? no one...). But if the bees are gone, guess what?
No pollination...
no pollination? no flowers, fruits, or vegetables.
Which goes towards lower food supplies...
which affects people...
get my drift?

Yes, i think mankind can survive (personally, i think the number of bees are going to pop up in a year or so, we studied this in school, and have some pretty wierd theories)

Yes, we are killing our poor little bee's. All of our cell phone usage & lord knows what else. And no, this place will be messed up without the little bee's to pollenate our crops. It will be a HUGE problem!

the word is that cell phones are a cause of the honey bee extinction and that if they do go extinct, then we are very soon to follow.

That's interesting, but somehow poroctive. Where did you hear it? Anyway, things will be different, there wont be any more honey ( :( i like honey), there will be less plants, which mean less food, medicine, and whatever else that can make out of that stuff like tobacco and indigoo and tea.

hmmm that is really a serious problem. it might sound stupid but we would need to develop genetic clones of bees or a bug like it or maybe tiny nano machine bees that would do their job once they r gone.bees r very necessary like other insects people hate like spiders.
