I really dont think you can teach a turtle. Their actions arent fast enough to do the understanding, but might as well try, couldnt hurt

are you kidding?!?

it's a tortoise not a turtle.

While you're trying to "teach" it to pee in a certain spot, you should try to "teach" it juggle snail shells.
Reptiles don't have the mental capacity to learn something like that. Maybe if you put a tiny toilet with some tiny magazines in its enclosure that might help.

can you smell the sarcasm? can ya?

Turtles cannot be 'paper trained', however, if you are housing it right, this should not be a problem.

If we know what kind of turtle this was, we could offer more help, but you can try http://www.tortoisetrust.org for lots fo good info.

I'm not sure whether you can teach your turtle to do things like that.

I have had desert tortoises my entire life and I really have never heard of a way to train them.
You can try to keep her in a box with some paper towels and news paper in it, and just throw it away everyday.
but that's it,
Sorry**
but, good luck with your tortoise.
I love them too....
:)

you cant teach a turtle to take a whiz in a spot becasue

Turtles are kinda dumb. They aren't really trainable. Enjoy her as she is, but give up on training her to do much!
