A woman who's outdated. They should read A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen it's very telling on the subject of keeping women uneducated and tied solely to their husbands or male figures. I'm a college girl and loving every minute - nothing will stop me from being one and I mean nothing.

Depends on the woman. If shes a rancid, man hating scumbag, then she shouldnt be so hypocritical as to get an education from male teachers. Otherwise, feel free :)

Don't worry about what those people think. Find friends who will support you and your dream of bettering yourself. It will benefit the family. Just be sure your family is not lacking in care while you are in school.

Person A- Wants their wife to be dumb so they can be smarter and controlling.
Person B- Want their wife to not work so hard and he'll take care of you for the rest of your life.
EDIT:
If a guy told you that, he probably doesnt want you to be idependent and GET SMARTER than him. And he wants to be the one taking care of the family and not you because you're not the man.
If it was a woman, that woman probably likes to be traditional and rather depend on men than herself.
