Ok so my mums gone out and left my stupid brother in charge of me. I'm grounded so my mum told him not to let me out. And he wont! But as he's my brother don't you think he should? I mean, it's not like my mum will even know. Big brothers are supposed to do stuff for there sisters. He's even locked the door. He's so mean to me sometimes.
And that's not all he's done. My ipod was on charge so i put my stereo on and he turned it off. He said it was because i kept switching the music up to loud while he was on the phone to his work and he asked me 3 times to switch it down and i didn't. But now he's off the phone he said he's not having it on for another 40 mins!
He thinks that just because i was shouting and swearing at him that i have no respect for him and he's saying stupid things like asking me why am i getting so angry at him and saying that im not showing him an respect and lil sisters are supposed to respect there brothers and he's not gna respond until i talk to him properly

and that i'm only making things worse for myself. So i kicked his ps3 and chukced some of his stuff and hes saying that if i don't come and pick it up and calm down then the internets going off. How unfair is that? I'm in his room at the moment and he's standing at the door saying he's gunna give me 10 minutes to calm down then he wants me to come and pick his stuff up.

I told my mates and she's on his side. Saying that he works hard for his stuff and i shouldn't try and ruin it and that i'm lucky he aint getting angry at me. But that's the thing, he never gets angry at me, he wont shout at me or hit me. (Thats something i like about him though!)
I do love him. Lots. He's the best brother ever he's just annoying me at the moment.

If you are grounded, and your older brother has agreed to enforce that while he's in charge, then expecting him to be lenient to the point of allowing you to violate said grounding is expecting him to break his word.

And that's showing him no respect at all.

He's being RESPONSIBLE. It's something that worthwhile adults do, and it looks like he's setting himself up to try and be one. What about you?

You might try negotiating over details -- stereo on, but low, sort of thing -- but not the overall situation. You are grounded. He didn't impose it, and it's not his to repeal or modify; he's only enforcing it. As he should.

He's going to BE your brother for the rest of your lives. Is this little pissy-snit really worth having?

Your behavior was extremely immature, you are acting like a 5 year old throwing a tantrum. You need to suffer the consequences of what you did, if you don't like it then follow your parents rules! I hope your older brother tells your mom and you get grounded longer for being a little brat. I am 15 and my brother is 25 and we NEVER disrespect each other. I would never damage his things. Please grow up.
