Go for the business coat especially on grad night so you won't look over dress. Plus it looks better on more casual clothes. A trench coats is more for a business suit. And the business coats will basically go with many things.

Trench Coat is the one that you wear over a dress or a 2 piece suit. Over Coat is the one you wear over over a sweater.

Both wrong:

One is for winter and has a lining, the other hasn't a lining.
