Most subs have to have had two years of college. They are usually subbing in an area of expertise, but as often they are not. This is why. It is difficult for schools to get subs who are trained in special subjects like physics, biology, chemistry, industrial arts, art, business education and physical education. When that happens, the school will usually call in a sub just to be with the classes because the classes can not be left alone and unsupervised. That is a liability issue. On the other hand, the teacher who calls in sick or who arranges for a day to be at a conference or the like, is not sure of who his/her sub will be.and whether or not the sub is qualified to teach the subject matter. So, the teacher sends in plans for the sub which end up having the students do busy work, taking a test, or watching a movie. For a qualified sub, this is as boring for the sub as it is for the students. In addition, even if the sub is qualified and the teacher knows who the sub will be, the teacher may not trust the sub to teach the information as he/she would. This results also in busywork for the students. I taught for 40 years and subbed for three. It is a difficult job in both cases. I hope this helps.

WHY are you writing on here. You tell your parents and tell the police and the school also make sure the School board, Education Dept or whoever is your educational body responsible for teachers know.

Remember you have done nothing wrong, so by doing this you are showing all your strength of character and helping to protect others against this person.

If this question is for real, go see your principal first thing tomorrow, that teacher's behaviour is out of line. If you are making this up as a joke, you will kill that theacher career in 2 seconds. But if this is for real, you should report him.

Yes, you should absolutely report him. I know it is embarrassing, but, he should not be teaching. the only way to get him to stop, and to force the school system to deal with this is to report him. what he did is highly illegal. have your friends with you, so that when you do, you don't feel alone. and then remember, even though it embarrasses you, it will probably get him fired, and save you, and other students from him.

it may be embarrassing but he should not touch you or say things like that to you.tell your parents and have them go with you when you report this to the principle or superintendent.you need to for your own self respect and to protect others from this kind of behavior! good luck.
