i cant remember what this movie is called and i really want to see it... in the commercial on abc family there is this girl on a bed and she crawls off and looks at the tv then says "they'e here". does anybody know what the movie is called?
btw in the commercial it doesnt give the title since it it just a clip to advertise the halloween movies

The little girl is NOT Drew Barrymore! Her name is Heather O'Rourke, and she died not long after the third film was completed.
It is Stephen Spielberg's "Poltergeist" (1982), which was a huge success at the box office, although the house is haunted by ghosts, not a poltergeist, which is an entirely different sort of thing.

The sequels are "Poltergeist 2: The Other Side" and "Poltergeist 3".
There's been talk of the Poltergeist curse since Dominique Dunne died not long after completing the first one, at the time she was beginning to work on the "V" TV miniseries; Will Sampson and Julian Beck both died not long after they completed work on the second film; and Heather died soon after the third film was completed although there is debate over refilming scenes. I doubt that a curse has anything to do with it.
1) Dominique Dunne had been attacked by her estranged boyfriend, who choked her until she fell into a coma and died.
2) Will Sampson died following an open heart surgery.
3) Julian Beck knew that he was dying of stomach cancer when he accepted the role, making it an eerie one as he speaks about death and dying.
4) Heather O'Rourke had been diagnosed with Crohn's Disease but had been doing well until she was rushed to the hospital with intestinal blockage. It's sad to see her in the last film because she does look as if she's ill, nothing like the little girl in the first film.

Apparently You are either really Young or unfamiliar with IMDB.com....but the movie that you are asking about is called..."Poltergeist" starring Craig T. Nelson, JO Beth Williams and a little girl whose character is Carol-Anne...who in real life dies due to cancer at the tender age of 8...it came out around 1981...Check it out...good scary movie for its time.
