What do you do when you fail yourself and other people?

Question

You see, I won in this national letter writing competition so everybody thinks I must be really good. Then, recently, I joined a provincial writing contest and I lost. See the ironic comparison?

Not really you can't win it all and the same humans were not in that contest vs competition. so you had different competition. so you can't say your bad at it you won something with it so you know it's in you.
However maybe someone in that contest practed 10 times more then you did and was slightly more prepared. I dont know what sistuation that happened.
so when you compete it's a case by case basis not a group of ironic comparisons...
You get what i'm saying?
