Food for most animals can be divided into three categories-
- GOOD for the animal,
- OK for the animal, and
- BAD for the animal.
We avoid the 'bad' foods, and use the 'ok' foods sparingly for variety, filler, etc. Most of the diet should be 'good' foods.
Cucumbers (and most other non-leafy veggies), and peaches (along with apples, pears, apricots, etc.) are on the 'OK' list.
Besides the already mentioned and very good http://www.redfoots.com you can also try http://www.tortoisetrust.org
