Do you approve of this cost? We can argue forever on what modivates peopel to fight a foreign occupier who came halfway around the world to patrol their streets.
The question, is it worth 20 million dollars of US Taxpayer money to kill 1 enemy combatant?
How much do we spend on killing child molesters and killers, and gangbangers and violent criminals in America?

Paying for police training isnt our duty. Paying for things like that are done by taxpayers (iraqi taxpayers) and oil revenue. Therefore, OUR funding is to "Kill terrorists".

We could have built a new Iraq for the trillion dollars that we've spent on this war. It could have been like Palm Islands in Dubai, and we could have stocked it with oil. Then we could have moved either the Sunnis or the Shia there. Mission accomplished! Let's go home!
We've spent a rediculous amount of money to defeat and occupy a third world country. And anyone with a brain understands that.

The problems in America are nothing like the problems in Iraq. That alone seems to justify spending more on Iraq. By the way, where did you get this figure from? I am very suspicious of facts and figures offered with no sources, especially when they are supposed to be "shocking" like this one. Is this the total cost of war divided by number of enemy supposedly killed? That would be highly inaccurate since a lot of the costs of the war are not associated with actual killing, but with reconstruction, support, training, defenses, etc.
And paying for police training became our duty when we occupied the country. You say that it should be paid for by Iraqi's, but what about when this is not possible? The whole idea of taxation requires a complex and competent government to legislate and enforce tax laws. When this structure is destroyed, taxes are not going to magically keep flowing in. The government cannot even provide basic security, what makes you think it can effectively tax? You greatly misrepresent the issue by insisting that American funding is only to kill "terrorists." It is obvious that this is not the only thing American money is spent on, and it should be just as obvious that by invading Iraq, America took on the responsibility not leave the nation in a state of war and chaos.

Almost 3000 innocent Americans murdered in one day on our own soil on 9/11 - perhaps we should have consulted a convention of bean counters to access just how much it would cost to try and stem this fanatical ideology and prevent another attack.

Where is your proof that it cost $20 million to kill one enemy combatant? I don't buy that one bit!
If this is hypothetical, then no, it's not worth 20 mil for one.

Are you saying we are not doing anything else but killing enemy combatants? We don't spend anything on training local police and we are not buying time for local authorities to rebuild the country?

Keep pushing the issue all you want, but while you sit back every night and watch your favorite sport. millions of dollars are being paid to them.
We also pay for criminals to stay in jail.
At least our soldiers are trying their best to kill that one terrorist who probably killed many innocent people.
