When is it by law required for my daughter to have a doctors note to return back to school because she was out wed for a ortho appt. today because she was sick and im thinking about having her out tmrw cuz she still dosent feel good plus that way we can leave early for our vacation but i was wondering if she would need a doctors note to return on monday then???

Not all schools have the same policies on this sort of thing, you need to call them to find out.

In the school that I work at, it is 3 days. But the best bet is to call the school and ask for their policy just to be safe.

That depends on school policy. When I was in school, we had to have a note any time we were absent, even if it was less than a day.

Ask that in her school, her teachers may require it in order to accept her delayed homework or tests.
