I grew up listening to both. My parents were big fans of the Oak Ridge Boys, up to the time of their death two years ago.
However, as for me, I've got to say Alabama! I can't think of one song, that they wrote and performed, that I didn't like. I attended several concerts that they held, mostly throughout the south [favorite, "Song of the South"... sweet potato pie and shut my mouth...]. When they retired I was heart broken. But, I've seen them twice since.
