Hi Third P,
I look at this question in two ways. Is there a secrecy or secret way of achieving peace or (b) is there secrecy through finding peace.
(a) There are so many ways to achieve peace and not all of them have to be secretive. Meditation, quiet contemplation, even a walk by the sea can be private ways of achieving peace but not necesarily secretive.
(b) Peace again can be found through the simple things in life, through enjoying quiet surroundings, through being close to nature. Peace can be achieved through sharing the same space/room with other like-minded people. In this it does not need to be secretive. Rather than a secrecy to peace, I think there is a restfulness to peace.

God is peace.

As long as we have to be on the Earth conflicting and colliding with the elements around us in order to survive there can never be true peace.
Conflict and forced change/adaption is the only thing that makes the world thrive and survive.
It is the meaning of life here on Earth. That is why we shouldn't focus on Earthly things, but look to God for our Peace.

Notice the answers listed here. No one agrees. No one can come together.... because all want to stand out be different and have their answer be best. We are arguing about peace. Very ironic.

To personal peace, the secret is focusing your energy.

To world peace... there's no such thing.

Okino's right, although he/she says so with a rather negative connotation. The fact that humans vie for superiority within our own race is natural. Sadly, not enough people are willing to separate themselves from the natural pattern and raise the human race to something more remarkable than just another animal. So... a secret to peace?

No one knows.

There probably is. But let me answer with a parable.
Anyone who has been around airplanes and pilots for any length of time realizes that the most difficult of all aircraft maneuvers is a good landing. There is an old saying amongst pilots: "There are three simple rules to make a perfect landing. Unfortunately, nobody knows what they are."

It is not a secret. The peace is disturbed when there is initiation of force. War erupts when diplomacy cannot solve the disturbance or right the wrong.

Peace is no secret; it's just that the majority of people won't accept how to go about it. Everyone is too hung up on their personal/religious/political dogma and too busy trying to convert everyone else to their personal/religious/political dogma that they are incapable of listenting.

Sure there is a secret, no more people. As long as mankind exists there will be war and fighting. It is in our nature. Killing is a part of us, and we as a species, are good at it.

Yes, there is. It is the raising and evolution of the spirit. You don't have to keep this secret. Feel free to spread it :-)

The perception of and for the need for control. What is it and why is it.

The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.
