Everyone gets tired in that last month, it's completely normal. You can be 2cm for a LONG time, don't rush it...
When you get further along and if you still want to try, sex a few times each week and long walks are the usual ways to cause labor. Keep in mind that you won't go into labor until that baby is ready, though, no matter how many at home induction techniques you try!

I wouldnt try and make myself go into labor at 36 wks. I know your tired but you have been doing it for weeks so whats a few more! You should be making sure that your having a healthy baby and thats the # 1 thing. Your baby will come when he/she is ready. But if you are really determined to find something I would wait until atleast 38 wks.

Please hang in there! You could harm your baby and yourself by inducing labour too early. It is possible to walk around for weeks being dilated. A full term pregnancy is 40 weeks and babies need to stay in the womb for a reason. I know the last month of pregnancy is very tiring and you feel as big as a house but your baby will come when it's good and ready!

I'm 36 weeks too and I can sympathize with your desperation to get it over with but, my last was born at 36 weeks and he had some breathing problems at birth (he was 8 lb 11 oz but, size made no difference) that led to more problems with his intestines (necrotizing enterocolitis) due too his blood not circulating well. He was hospitalized for 2 weeks and all of this could have been avoided if I hadn't been so desperate to have him and I drank castor oil. Now, I have to live with knowing that I did this to my son.... oh, and he aspirated meconium too. I didn't believe it when I heard that castor oil was linked to meconium being passed in utero. Please wait.... I'm not trying to be self-righteous like SO many, I'm just sharing my experience. I would hate for you to have to find out the hard way like I did. Now, my daughter and other son were born at 38 weeks.... and they were very healthy.

Your baby gains his or her weight the most the last 4 weeks of pregnancy...about a pound a week. And also the lungs finish developing. It's best to wait until your baby is ready to come out. Yes your baby can survive at 36 weeks but he or she will be at their peak if you wait. I know your anxious but be patient!!

It doesn't matter if you are ready. It matters if the baby is ready. You are a mom now. Things will never be on your time again. The baby isn't ready to come yet. It's lungs need more time to develop.

you can drink raspberry tea, have sex, stimulate your nipples , clean, walk a lot. I guess I would suggest waiting at least another 2 weeks though. Some doctors would stop a labor at 36 weeks in fear of lungs not being completely developed

At 36 weeks the baby isn't ready, the baby isn't even full term. Stop being selfish!
http://www.nih.gov/news/pr/jan2002/nichd-15.htm
Specifically, the researchers found that infants who were from 1 to 4 weeks premature-from the 33rd through the 36th week of pregnancy-were likely to experience a delay in one or two developmental milestones for a given age category, from birth through 47 months of age. Physicians consider a child to be full term when he or she is born in the 37th week of pregnancy or later.
The researchers also found that children who were smaller than normal for their age at birth were also likely to experience a delay in one developmental milestone in each age category.

Are babies born at 34 to 36 weeks gestation at risk for medical problems?
Late preterm infants are usually healthier than babies born earlier, and they are almost as likely as full-term babies to survive. Late preterm babies often weigh between 4 1/2 and 6 pounds, and they may still appear thinner than full-term babies. These babies remain at higher risk than full-term babies for newborn health problems, including breathing and feeding problems, difficulties regulating body temperature, and jaundice (6). These problems are usually mild, and most babies make a quick recovery. Most of these babies can be breast- or bottle-fed, although some (especially those with mild breathing problems) may need tube-feeding for a brief time. It is estimated that at 35 weeks gestation, the weight of the brain is only around 60 percent that of term infants (6). Late preterm babies are unlikely to develop serious disabilities resulting from premature birth, but they may be at increased risk for subtle learning and behavioral problems (6).

I think you should go to your Dr and get their opinion before causing any undue stress to you baby.
Try to think of what's best for your baby - not yourself.
