Hunny I think you have the wrong section for this. Having your first period is perfectly normal! I got mine when I was 12 but my mom got hers when she was even younger at 8 years old!!! Usually it'll last 3-4 days. It really all depends on the person. Anyways congradulations and welcome to womanhood as corny as that sounds!!!!

Phew, took me a while to discern that message...

Yes, eleven years old is a perfectly normal age to get your period... I think I first got mine a bit later than that, but ah, same difference.
It lasts until you're about 40-50 years of age.. when your period ceases, it's called 'menopause'. It differs for everyone, just like the start time.

Hope that helped you!

everyone is different.
i started around your age....sadly it was at school
usually from 3-7 days (the 3 day ppl are lucky!)
as others have said 'welcome into womanhood' that is good for when you get older and want ot have a child but bad since ur stuck with this until you get older (a joy for us all)
lots of luck!

I started my period on my 11th b-day. It lasts about a week, if you have regular periods.
