Well, I would write down the day that you started, so it won't sneak up on you the next month. But, find out what is more comfortable for you when it comes to using tampons or pads. And when your period slows down toward the end, try using a panty liner. And if you get really severe cramps, talk to your mom about birth control. And that does not mean that she thinks you are having sex. Alot of girls use birth control to help with cramps and other things that come along with a period. And there are over the counter medicines like Midol and other things. I hope that I have helped.

HEyy i would tell mum (dad if you don't have a mum or something) get pads or tampons which ever you prefer and some advil (midol) for cramps if you have any???

My recomandation for if you were to use pads would probabley be...hmmm....always with wings maxi pads there awesome!!! If you were to use tampons i would have to say..playtex sport? (i think thats what it is i can't remeber what i even use sorry) in slim they go up easier!

The third thing you should do is make sure you don't wear any pastels or whites this week!!!

P.S. May i suggest always maxi, they're comfortable and have very good protection.

About tampons, you may use them even if you are a virgin but they can burn and be difficult to insert the first times. Buy the smallest possible tampons for the first trial!
