You might need to clear your cache or change the browser you are using.

Your computer also might be infected with a virus/trojan horse (whatever you want to call it, they're all the same to me)

Until you can clean your system of the virus/trojan horse, I wouldn't use that computer for Paypal transactions.

And never use Paypal or browse a financial institution site while in a public place using your laptop computer. Hackers are known to stalk these places. Also people that use Ebay are targets for these scumbag hackers that stalk espresso shops for people using sensitive information web sites. Ebay is a sensitive information website as well as financial institution websites.

I've had various problems with PayPal over the years. Mostly it's because their servers went down for whatever reason.

As a courtesy to the seller, send them a message telling them that you're having PayPal problems. Then try it again later on tonight or tomorrow.

I haven't had that specific problem, but paypal can be goofy sometimes. They have a help email thing. They are really good about helping you on that thing. Email them about it. In the mean time, email the seller of the item you bought and let them know what's going on so they don't think your not going to pay for it!

You need two things:

1. A PayPal account
2. Enough money in your account, or a credit card on file.
