You know it's just not really that important any more. Now as for my friends and (immediate) family it is right up there in importance with speed and celery! Hey don't knock celery! I guess what I am trying to say is that as a die hard rescuer personality, I am getting a bit burned out on all the drama! I can attempt to heal their karma, but, after awhile it just seems they would be lost if they were not complaining about something. So. I focus on being a delightful person, and if you get giggly being around me, "groovy" if not, well....... phooey!

In an ideal world I would love to be surrounded by only happy, ecstatic people, but it is just not always realistic. Of course I always try to do my best to not inflict those I love or care about with any thing that does not make them happy, but people get sad, people grieve, & people have "bad" days. Sometimes in some situations it is not possible to lift anothers mood, but I love them & I will support them where they are. Sometimes peroids of unhappiness are a necessary process while someone is working thru an issue & you just have to let them walk thru it, but you still are there for support. Recently a dear friends sister died. My friend was grieving & of course very sad. I could not do anything to cheer her up, nor did I try, but I did sit for hours with her many days in silence, just to support her. So, getting finally to the question, it's not as important as the person I love being able to be real, being where ever they are really are without expectation of mood. Everyone has a bad day now & then, everyone has losses at times, I want to be able to honor them by giving them the room they need to be where they happen to be, & I hope to recieve the same. Thanks.

I used to have my own holiday.

Sweetness day.

On Sweetness day, I would bring in a big box of chocolates and order pizza and drinks and explain the one and only rule.

Be sweet.

I did this as much for me as I did this for everyone else.

I wanted those memories for the bad times, when things were not so sweet, when things were simply hard, or when things were just so boring.

Of course, I deal with a lot of diabetics these days so sweetness day is fish day and pizza is a rarity, but; there is fruit.

And there are smiles. They make me happy and some smiles make me happier than others.

So it is very important, if for no other reason than things change.

Very, very important...
I actually see my friends and family sad quite a bit and this kind of depresses me as I feel it's my fault that they feel like that, and I don't help anybody in any way.
I just really wish that everyone could be happy =] and smileeeeee xx
Coz no-one's gonna live forever ..
~Great question!!! Star 4 u..
Take care x
