Henry Ford is the famous founder of the Ford Motor Company. His revolutionary assembly line inventions for his automobiles created jobs and also reduced the price of autos down to a level that most consumers could afford. The average price of a hand built car say an Oldsmobile or Pierce Arrow to name a few more of the early auto Pioneers was about 1200.00 or more. When Ford put in the assembly line method a Ford could be bought for 495.00 available in the color Black only. He was also instrumental in raising the wages of workers.----- He was also important in War times as he retooled his auto factories into Military Factories to produce the Army with Trucks--Troop Carriers--Scouting Cars and even Airplanes!!! Even in WW2 his factories produced Jeeps as their factories couldnt produce them in suffient quantities so He won Government Contracts for these Jeeps. On a sad note His Ford Model Edsel which he named after his son has gone done is History as the worst car ever produced a complete FLOP. These were introduced to the Public in the late 1950s I think 1958 and were plagued by Mechanical problems and Just plain Ugly. Sales went to the bottom of the Charts hope this helps.
