x = -3|y| + 2

Inverse
y = -3|x| + 2

Domain is all reals

Range is all reals less than or equal to 2
[2, -∞)

x=-3|y|+2
The domain of y is clearly (-infinity,infinity)
The range of x is (- infinity, 2]

So inverse has domain of (-infinity,2], and
range = (-infinity,infinity)
