Burning her to death is illegal today, first of all. :o)
But seriously, it's not a major transgression. If she gets wasted every chance she gets and it gets in the way of her praising God and doing His work, and consumes her life and money, then it's a sin. Opening up the shop is also not a sin, as she is doing something with her life and has to provide herself with an income and society with a service. The Bible makes it clear that too much alcohol is bad; but Paul recommends some wine if you've got stomach problems, and Jesus turned water into wine at a wedding. Proverbs 31 says to give alcohol to the poor and suffering people so they may forget their problems.
Ultimately, God forgives, and so should we (even though in this case the Sister didn't sin). We shouldn't be burning people to death...
EDIT: Wow, am I the only one who took the question seriously? I mean, did ya'll think that perhaps the girl is being SINCERE in her question? Who knows the context of the question? Maybe it's for a religious ethics evolution class or something. Relax, people. Stop going for cheap points and leaving crap answers.

where on earth did you get that? whose thoughts are those? Who plans to do the burning? and what for? your comment makes no sense at all, so why would anyone even wish to or try to write a paragraph about that?
Some people write questions to misdirect people, some just want followers, but sounds to me like your comment is to disparage and injure.

becasue they're made of... wood? BURN!
actually you shoudl leave the burning to god - if he does not smite her with FIRE - I say FIRE and the BREATH of BURNIN' HELL, brothers and sisters, i say no human should have the right to do what god is obviously so hesitant to do. By the way i hope the nun gets happily plastered.
