I like hip hop and mostly hip hop songs that have some meaning. i know those are hard to find .. in fact they are pretty hard to find.. but when you find hip hop songs like that it's so cool!
and the beats are great
I'm a big music lover and i love everything about music
rap/hip hop should be appreciated because rapping just like everything else takes some skills and practice :)

hip hops got a good beat and some of the lyrics are crazy. i like it when an artist can produce a lyric that is rarely heard. it shows off their talent for using metaphors, ryhme scheme, etc. i know i cant do it so i give them props for it. some people hate that some rap songs speak garbage but to others its just telling how life is depending on where you grow up. so people really do relate to it. plus its nice to bump it in your car and fantasize that you are the one who's rocking the bling! lol!

I don't like it because there is not even musical entertainment value to hold my interest beyond a few seconds. Gravitate to more challenging and rewarding fare. (I wonder how my sermon would sound with a hip hop beat)! lol

I hate mainstream hip-hop, but the underground is on fire.
Listen to some Immortal Technique or Cyne or something and tell me it's not hot.

I like hip hop, but I don't like hearing the same I like your booty and give me weed and cash lyrics. That is so played out.

I like it becuase it is diverse and not all about the same thnig depending on the artists. I hate dirty south rap becuase it is repetitive(grills,rims,chevelles,chain,big asses) there more out there like papoose a little 50 cent biggie smalls jay z and nas

Hate it. It created/supports a corrupt "culture" that encourages disrespect to just about everybody along with possible violence, created generations of children/teenagers that walk around like clowns, and the music itself is highly overrated - just a bunch of repetitive tunes to some rhyming speech by a (c)rappe that you can literally perceive the lack of IQ points in his speech patterns.

the rap that i do like - i like mainly because of the music. rarely do i like it because of the message(espescially the new sttuff) old school hip hop was fun.
