Recently, yes. Because the Peace Prize has become, in effect, the Advancement of Socialism Prize.

It's easy. I've won the Nobel Pants Prize 10 years running.

Theodore Roosevelt was the first President to win the Nobel Peace prize, for mediating an end to the Russo Japanese War in 1905. Of course, TR would not associate with today's Republicans, but he was a Republican of his day.

The Republicans before Eisenhower were traditionally isolationist, and therefore unlikely to get involved in foreign affairs enough to earn a Peace Prize. None since then have had the intelligence or motivation, except perhaps Richard Nixon. His trip to China certainly might have qualified him in a leaner year, and they had just given it to Kissinger for not bombing North Viet Nam any more.

The Nobel committees are and always have been liberal. Alfred Nobel was a liberal. Who else would think of giving Yassar Arafat the peace prize? Jimmy Carter? Get real. He is a befuddled old man and was a befuddled young man. His ideas of peace are the same as Neville Chamberlain's were. He gave away Iran and put us where we are today. He loves Hugo Chavez. Appeasement can be spelled "Gore" or "Carter". Liberals love that stuff. Check out this website to see how many conservatives with the thing. http://www.nobelprizes.com/nobel/peace/peace.html

Interestingly there have been 3 US Presidents who have won the Nobel Prize. One Progressive Republican and 2 Democrats and now a Democratic Vice Presidents. Peace Prize for Democrats and one liberal Republican...Go figure.

No. Some cons calling themselves the Landmark Legal Foundation nominated Rush Limbaugh. Rush must have slipped them some dope for the nomination.

Because their contributions are obvious. How easy is it to forget Republicans "peace through strength" when it comes to Reagan's pushing for the fall of communism or Bush Sr. liberating Kuwait.

Its kind of like how mom always gets the praise because she is ready to pamper you and dad is rarely recognized for protecting you and teaching you to be a man.

I believe that people to easily forget that we still to live in a rough world. We have yet to see peaceful ideology everywhere in the world. I hasten the day when there is only the need for Jimmy Carters and Al Gores until then I'm certainly glad we have Republicans!

Of course they are. It's because the people that hand them out are politically correct and delusional.
