any noise in the dark when i'm sleeping!

Besides the unholy high-pitched sound of evil incarnate produced by my arch-enemy, the random whistler who seems to follow me wherever I go, inducing in me a persecution complex bordering on paranoia, and obviously attempting to provoke me into committing murder ..... the sound of air-raid sirens always causes an automatic churning in my stomach, a conditioned response to having endured about 40 such episodes while living abroad during the '91 Gulf War.

This easy the minute I have to call my kid and some young persons cell phone makes me listen to angry rap crap! Then I get in the car and my husband puts on his favorite loudly, Josh Groban== and I could just implode as I that stuff revberates in my head till I punch it off and he looks hurt and I feel bad about it but honestly. I like silence.
