Hi. Three times zero (nothing) is just plain zero lol. Anything times zero equals zero.
Three times nothing at all (x), I would guess that there is not a zero but an unknown, x ('x' is "nothing at all"). So in that case, three times nothing at all (no number(s) or just plain unknown 'x') would be 3 times X which equals 3X.
Nothing = nothing. Also, nothing = nothing at all. You can't go from nothing to nothing at all; nothing is nothing =). Just like when somebody is dead, as an example, the person cannot die any further--it just decomposes.
So, from what I stated above, if "nothing" equals zero--then "nothing at all" must equal zero. Thus, 3 times "nothing at all" = zero.
If you have any other questions, just message me! Hopefully that helped lol.

your question is quite confusing and i dont know how you thought of it but if nothing were to equal 0 than 3 times nothing would=0. if it were to be 3+nothing than it would =3. it really just depends on what nothing equals.

Ever think about this: 3 divided by 0 is undefined since there are infinitely many 0s in 3.
To me, 0 is a neutral integer, a number on the number line and nothing is what flies around in my head during math class.

If three times nothing were the problem than it's still three because the action never happened.
I mean, yeah zero IS nothingess, but 0 is just like any other number, it would be addressed by its name.
So saying 3 times nothing results in zero would be like saying three times nothing could result in 9.
But since it's nothing, then three timed NOTHING so it didn't times anything at all, never happened.

No. Anything times 0 is 0 because it's like having that number no times.

you have the answer inside your question:
nothing = 0, so
0 x 0 x 0 = 0, and
nothing x nothing x nothing = 0
try using a letter:
let say
nothing = 0
A = nothing
therefore
A x A x A = 0

Three nothings would equal 0, because they're nothing.
