This can be anything from worms to insects to arachnids.

For me. It's gotta be spiders. Tiny tiny ones don't bother me, but anything bigger than .5in+ actually freaks me out. (Like wolf spiders, brown recluses, black widows, hunting spiders, etc, etc).

I'm serious. I got a serious case of arachnaphobia. I know that just one night there's gonna be one in my bed or on my pillow. It happened to be my bro once. ZOMG!

But c'mon. There's gotta be at least ONE bug people hate and abhor.

Spiders

I actually have no problem with spiders, I think they're quite helpful. One set up a web outside my window and now I can take the screen out without any bugs coming in but the bugs that really bother me are ticks, not because they're gross but because it's so annoying to have to pull them off EVERY time you go hiking.

Mosquitos! In this area Green Head Flies.
The mosquitos swarm towards you, sting, and cause intense itching that can last over a day. Green Head Flys bite and it hurts!!

Really do not see spiders where I live. But, the ones I see don't freak me out.

I am really grossed out if I am at a grocery store or a restaurant and I see a cockroach--

OMG! How convenient! I finally have a chance to vent now!

I just moved into a ground-level one bedroom and we have silverfish and millipedes that come in through the heaters from time to time.

For anyone who doesn't know what a silverfish is, they have a lot of legs like a millipede, but the legs are extremely long and they're just nasty and creepy looking, and man, are they fast! and they aren't little-swat-them-with-a-flyswatter bugs, they're like 3 inches long and an inch wide...big nasty mothers!!! A steel toed boot will do the trick.

Ughhhhh!!! NOW MY SKIN IS CRAWLING!!!

Do not really hate any bugs, spiders, snakes, mice or rats and I'm female. But do find things flying to close, could be an insect or bird, really agitates me, there again I'm an aspie and have heard other Aspies are effected like this also.

I hate any fast moving bug. Spiders are the worst, don't get me wrong...But it's the fast moving spiders that scare me, because you see them just long enough to know they're there and then they disappear from sight and you have to suffer the anticipation of it's return. Centipedes, spiders, etc. <>

Yes, I agree with you. I put up with most bugs, but Spiders just turn on the killer instinct in me. I'm smash one before I have even thought about it. Ewwww, makes my skin crawl to think about them.

Maggots. I worked a restaurant job when I was much younger, and had to help take out some trash from a huge party. Never again.
