im building a high end gaming system and i need to know which brand of motherboard i should get, i've heard of a lot of problems with asus.

Well I read your subsequent question about liquid cooling, so I assume money is not really an object, so I would say go with the ASUS Striker Extreme, it is basically the king of SLI motherboards. ASUS is easily the best brand, and as the best they have plenty of people who hate them, but don't listen to it, they make quality products.

Any motherboard that costs about $200 would be good enough.

Sadly low price doesn't equal quality. This means you need to spend to get quality hardware.

Intel.....Almost all the Manufacturers Use it.
