The top part pretty much says it all. My NAT setting is "Moderate" and it needs to be "Open". Agin the model number is RTP300 and the serial number is CJM00E887811. (it may also be CJMOOE887811) Please give step-by-step instructions starting from the start menu because I'm not too bright. Thanks for any help!

I also asked my computer teacher about this and he said something about a DMZ port, a firewall, and something on how to bypass it. Does that make any sense?

I think, just think mind you, that you want to port forward for your HALO game. NAT is network address translation and to get your game working you have to tell the internet where inside (your local computers IP) you want the game to connect. (That is port forwarding - it opens the NAT to the world on the ports you open.) Don't know where these people got the NAT moderate/Nat Open terms.. guess they had to say something to help confuse people.. ALL you want is to OPEN the PORTS needed by the game and open those on the computer that game is running on. That is port forwarding!

Here is the article on how to do this with YOUR router.

and here is an article that confirms this and tells which ports to open in your router.

i believe that Linksys all have the same GUI. enter your device via internet browser, go to google, look up the port forwarding info needed to enter. then enter it into your device.
