Don't kids say the darnest things? When I was a young boy, I would say "pasgeti" instead of spagetti. I had a friend that had Elmer Fudd syndrome (lisp) and he studdered. I know a boy that can't say Shrek, but says, "Strek" What were some words you couldn't pronounce?

Wow, I had a big problem with that when I was a kid. I had to take speech therapy lessons because of that. One of the words that I still have trouble with to this day is the word "asked". For some reason, this is a hard word for me to say. And, when I was a kid, I would use a word that begins with an "F" that would be spelled with "TH". "Fat's not fair" in stead of "That's not fair".
Another word is "soda". I still pronounce it like "Soder". So "soda" and "asked" are two words that I have trouble with. Still.

lol Hadn't thought about it in years! After I lost both my two front teeth as a kid, I couldn't pronounce "Trigger". It came out "Twigger". Anything with an R at the beginning I thought my dad would hurt himself laughing. Never forgot it. It was funny now that I look back.

Children are lixdexic at one moment in their younger years. I still find 'disciplinary' a bit hard to say now. I would stick to 'diss' instead and all the parents would stare... talk about misunderstanding!

it particularly is a sturdy question! nonetheless I trust you that words might desire to be stated wisely, i think of it particularly is using the cost of having a notice out quite than laziness. it extremely is variety of like asserting "i'm gonna" quite of "i'll." it extremely is merely much less demanding for our tongues to get out the shortened version of the notice(s). for my area, I say "5th" and "February" as they're written, whether it strikes others as unusual.

Absolutely! I totally said "ox-chicken" instead of "oxygen."
P.S. pasgeti sounds SO much cooler than spaghetti.
