People who have paying into it will not stand for getting nothing when it comes time for them to retire - but don't count on getting as much as has been promised. - The rest of the government has been raiding the surplus being paid into the trust fund for years, and the government has no plan in place pay it back when it is needed to pay benefits. - The government can't outright default on the bonds held by the trust fund, but expect some juggling of the numbers as an excuse to cut benefits. One trick the government will use to justify cutting benefits, is to assume that life expectancies will get a lot longer in the future. - If almost everybody is living to be 90 or 100, the only thing for the government to do would be to cut benefits, so that the Social Security Trust fund can built up a bigger surplus that the rest of the government can borrow and not pay back.

Definitely Randy S! So far all over the world, the Systems of Social Security is one of the most requested Song to let play round after round and must be endlessly, or else where can we have the elders now...THEY KEEP ON ASKING AND RELYING ON IT...till the end of time...the Song must keep on Playing. Never mind if its lit bit...cause you were the one that made it so. NOw while you're young...invest on it...choose the most you're capable to pay premiums...its a simple INVESTMENT!...longer and bigger investment begets better benefits until the last quarter year you're retiring ...then you're ensured of good enough for your retirement days THAN NOTHING ha!...you may choose lump sum or monthly pensions...so you can afford strolling along the Boulevard and Gay Paris... wishing well and throw your 3 coins in the fountain...for better luck in case ...still the Song shall play and play round and round........

Support it Man. Not so long those bad managers and law makers will find their day in court or God will call them in hell! Trust me.

But lets listen to the song that way we express our dedicating LOVE SongS to our poor needing Elders very much depending now on that Song to continue Playing for them to live a little decent life, not strolling beggarly way in the Boulevard of Broken Dreams.

...LASTLY and finally let the Systems of that Song bring you least expense to 6 feet below the ground ...while the Song is still Playing...Ave Marrrrriiiiiiaaaah!!!!

And even you don't like it ...the melody, substance, benefits of the Song shall transfer to you right beneficiaries...don't you know?

HELP you out there to immortalize the Song...its cool...its helpful...never mind the greeds...they will just FADE AWAY...

More than likely no. They'll probably have gotten rid of it by 2015 or so and I wont be old enough to use it till like 2056.

I strongly doubt it. It's sad too cause I put into the system and I would expect to get a lil bit of it back when I get older.

Not unless Congressmen are forced to pay into it and make it so it benefits them. Then they'll find TRILLIONS of dollars to fix it!
