I asked my teacher to give me some homework but he snapped at me and said not to critize his way of teaching the course.

You never mentioned what year you were in at school but give this website a try. It has revision notes as well as problems for you to try: http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/education/bitesize/ (if you are in Standard Grade/GCSE/8th to 10th Grade) and http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/education/bitesize/higher/ (if you are in Higher/11th to 12th Grade)

If you're still struggling, I'd have your parents make an appointment with the teacher so he knows you're having problems. He can't just fob you off; if his methods aren't working, he needs to find new ones and your parents will remind him of that if he gets snippy. Also, consider getting a tutor.

The site I've listed has problems with worked out answers. Physics takes time to learn, be patient and you'll get it!
