does anyone know anything about a p1740 engine code on a 2000 durango? mine keeps coming on since 2003.?

all i know is that something is wrong with the overdrive relay switch but the car drives ok no problems at all

You need a new solenoid pack and also a new transducer and governorpressure regulator. This is very common on Durango.

1740 Either the tcc solenoid or overdrive solenoid systems doesn't seem to be making much sense

This is a dodge code so maybe a dodge specialist can diagnose it. Doesn't sound too serious.
