I am not sure I would have worn the tight, stretchy blouses with all of my stomach hanging out. Being pregnant is beautiful, but no one needs or wants to see your belly in all its glory. This is just my opinion. What say you?

The baby-doll tops are adorable.

I wore maternity clothes when I was pregnant. It was comfy & non restrictive. I hate seeing pregnant wearing t-shirts or tops that look two sizes too small. It looks so uncomfy. I don't need to see their belly hanging out. I know what a pregnant tummy looks like.

When I was pg I could have worn a pup tent and it would have still been obvious, I was usually leaning over backward by the time I was 5 months--my stomach was under a smock stretching it to the max in front, hanging out under it and I walked like a lame duck. I could scare someone in a tight T. Let 'em do what the trend is.

I'm not keen on the "bare tummy look" which seems to be fashionable for some. A pregnant tummy is certainly nothing to be ashamed of, but some are nicer when covered.

When I was pregnant 30 years ago, I thought we wore very nice clothes, which were specially cut to be feminine and pretty without showing everything. Now, a lot of girls seem to just keep on wearing the same non-pregnancy clothes, which strain to go around the bulge. But, whatever they wear, I just think that pregnancy is a lovely time of any woman's life, and they all look beautiful to me. :)

Why not. Pregnancy is a natural process, and it's BEAUTIFUL!

When I was pregnant with my second daughter in the hot summer, I would wear my Speedo one piece on the beach. Everyone knows how Speedos fit?!

I actually prefer the form-fitting tops on otherwise thin women. I think that most loose pregnancy fashions make a woman look fat and ugly. Which is why I always applauded Demi Moore for her pregnancy nudes. You shouldn't want to HIDE it. Most women work so hard to get pregnant, why not flaunt it?

I don't show off my belly, but some of my shirts may be kind of tight, but I can't help it. I am 33 weeks pregnant and suddenly the temperature dropped outside and I have nothing to wear right now. I think baring belly after you are a teenager is tacky, pregnant or not.

I could hardly wait to wear maternity clothes when I was pregnant. But I think that most of the pregnant belly ladies are cute. They are proud and showing it off to the world. I don't even mind the pregnant ones in bikinis. You go girl!!!

I think they look awesome. Better than the traditional drapery of old.

The young women that I don't understand are the big bellied ones who wear tight clothes that don't compliment them in any way. And all those lack of good support buxom bosoms are getting just plain gross. If guys walked around with their tops showing they'd be told to button up. Although ... they have been allowed to show off their bums for years ... oh well, back to the drawing board.

For quite a few years the bikinis with the belly overhanging have made me want to close my eyes. I just like the cute babydoll tops and the classic loose lines.

I don't care for the tight tops......I was thrilled when I was pregnant and not ashamed of it....but like anything.....you wanted to accent things nicely......not look like you're poured into it. But in a way they are a tad better than the ghastly outfits my mom was stuck wearing. She had one that had huge turnips on it. LOL.....

There is an old saying: You are what you wear.
Nowadays, it seems like the more you show, the sexier you are? Even my son, when he sees a heavy or pregnant woman, thinks it's repugnant when they bare their fat for everyone to see bounce and jiggle. It's not just tacky, it's incredibly tacky
