For some reason, one day I opened up my Internet Explorer and it won't open, but it does open on a different browser such as AOL Internet Explorer, but I'd rather use Internet Explorer. Anyway, I ran a Network Diagnostics for Windows XP and it says

"Windows cannot connect to the Internet using HTTP, HTTPS, or FTP. This is probably caused by firewall settings on this computer.

Check the firewall settings for the HTTP port (80), HTTPS port (443), and FTP port (21)

You might need to contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP) or the manufacturer of your firewall software."

What do I do?

I've already unintstalled and reinstalled Internet explorer, it still doesn't work.

It can't be a problem with Internet connection because I can get on using another browser.

i don't know if this will help or no but wat i will say will make the Internet explorer detect settings automatically

close any web Page was opened then right click on Internet explorer icon on desktop > properties > connections > lan settings
then check automatically detect settings

if that not working with u ..
try to find if u have any antivirus have a firewall and need a permit to access Internet
and check if it blocked ur Internet explorer .. if it blocked just change it to permit all ... and try to use Internet
but if this not working too so u have to remove ur Internet explorer then install it again ...
i hope that can be useful for u

You are using two browsers? You might be confusing the system. I think I would uninstall the one you can get along without.
