you have to tell him or her that you are suffering from insecurities and try to get help for that, counseling, and do things to raise your self esteem, If they love you, they will help you get past this and if they are the reason for some of the insecurities, you will learn to see that during counseling so you have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You have to love yourself enough to get help and get over the problem and then you will be able to love others after that.

then you need to tell them you are insecure. If there is a reason you are insecure you need to figure it out what it is and fix the problem.

First of all you need to sit down with this person and talk it out so that he will know how you feel . That's the only way he will know how you feel let it all out and dont hold anything back.
