Well, I guess they aren't homeless now. Technically speaking. I do have compassion for them. It is getting cold and the roof is a lot warmer that the rose garden they were living in before.

But before they at least contributed to the fertilization of the roses. And a very good job they did. However the "run off" from the roof is damaging my terra cotta tiles and staining my silk awnings.

I have talked to the police to no avail.

I want to be a good person, but it has become an intolerable situation. There are about 150 of them now and there seem to be more coming all the time.

What would you do?

Sounds like a slippery slope to me. Much like Debi. When the cold weather sets in and they haven't had a drink for a while, they will get the shakes and fall right off. If they don't fall all the way off, you may have to pull them out of the gutter. Otherwise your investment may go down the drain, and I am not just spouting off.

if you own the house the police should help you by removing them, if you rent, tell the management so they can have them removed.
