yes it is safe most of the time... once someone got a hold of my password and drafted 1800 bucks from me... thank god they didn't have a registered account they drafted it too so the money just hung in limbo until it feel off the account 72 hours later. Paypal wasn't also as helpful as they could be with resolving the matter.

I had a real easy password then I have sense made it a lot harder of a password

I still use it and am a buyer so ya I think it's safe.

The only problems I have had is that I got some emails saying someone had "listed" things for sale using my account (You know so that I would have had to pay the seller's fee.) but they didn't actually get any money from me because my paypal account was empty, I always keep it empty and transfer money when I need it. I have also gotten very suspicious emails asking to "update" my paypal information within a certain amount of hours or my account will be "suspended", never give out any info in an email like that, it's fake! I would recommend every couple months changing your passwords, but even if someone does get into your paypal account, they still can't get into your bank account.

I have been using paypal for almost a year and have not had any problems. I am usually the seller. But I have purchased a few things and also haven't had problems.I dont know what would happen if i got a bad seller but i think it does have some security features you may want to contact them with your specific question.

From experience, yes, it is safe.

Just keep in mind that there are always going to be people out there online that want to try to frame you and con you out of money. NEVER do ANYTHING without first making sure that you are communicating with the company you want to, say if you get an email that looks funny.

That link will help you out, I think, anyways.

Also, the seller gets your money when the payment goes through. If you don't get your item, you can bring this up with Ebay.
