So much happens in this movie, what, in your opinion and why, is the climax of this film? and what is the target audience?

The climax of the movie would be when he got his son. that seemed to be the final proof that he was the same as anyone else.
The target audience was probably btwn the ages of 30-45 (at the time the movie was made) because much of the movie took place when that generation was pre-teen to early 20's and they could more readily identify with all of the different issues that were addressed.

That life is not always fair--but you have to cope the best you can.
I don't think there was target audience.
I heard they were really surprised how well the movie was received by the general public.
